"Maya Kalan’s hats are the perfect packaging for a beautiful face. Sculptural broad brims sweep around the face and shoulders to flatter and shade, while precious cloches and fabulous fedoras trim the brim to a smarter frame.
Whatever the style, Maya creates a picture that is always feminine, always confident, always elegant.
Maya has mastered the combination of innovation and classical elegance. A blend of the two, her hats wrap today’s face in a thoroughly modern take on old world grace.
Maya explores colour and texture, form and feeling, silhouette and balance. The finish is sometimes raw and free, sometimes exquisitely detailed, and always masterfully executed.
Maya creates each hat to suit each individual client, designing a unique expression of their style. Each is a one-off masterpiece, tailored to suit personality, face, fashion and occasion, and guaranteed to turn heads"
